Over the summer of 2020, Blois Construction recruited three undergraduate engineering students from Cal Poly SLO and Cal State Northridge to participate in an internship program at Blois for 12 weeks each. The interns were able to work directly with our Project Management Teams assisting on various jobs including the Sony Studios Infrastructure project in Culver City and the U-21 Trunk Line project near LAX. Tasks that the interns participated in included attending on-site project status meetings, placing material orders, submitting RFIs, assisting with project take-offs and schedules, and attending cost meetings. Blois Construction was glad to be able to adapt to the COVID-19 health situation and still provide a challenging and rewarding internship experience for these students. Blois Construction would like to thank our interns Brett Butler, David Webster, and Daniel Ayala for their hard work and participation during their time at Blois. We look forward to continuing the internship program again next summer.
