Blois Summer Intern Program
Over the summer of 2020, Blois Construction recruited three undergraduate engineering students from Cal Poly SLO and Cal State Northridge to participate in an internship program at Blois for 12 weeks each. The interns were able to work directly with our Project Management Teams assisting on various jobs including the Sony Studios Infrastructure project in Culver City and the U-21 Trunk Line project near LAX. Tasks that the interns participated in included attending on-site project status meetings, placing material orders, submitting RFIs, assisting with project take-offs and schedules, and attending cost meetings. Blois Hits Three Year No Lost Time Milestone
A milestone of three years with no lost time is an achievement to celebrate. To celebrate each employee for adopting our “Stand Tall” safety culture. To celebrate each employee for looking out for each other to keep everyone safe. To celebrate our team making safety a priority. Once the dust settles on these uncertain times, we will celebrate. Blois Wins National Safety Excellence Award at 21st Annual AGC of America Conference
Congratulations to the Blois team for once again being recognized nationally as having the best safety program in its class! After being awarded best in class for California, Blois was then chosen as one of three finalists to present to judges in Las Vegas. During the 21st Annual AGC Construction Safety Excellence Awards, Blois was honored by receiving 1st place. Once again thank you to all our employees for all the hard work and dedication you put into safety. Thank you for Standing Tall!
