This was a special night for Blois and several of its crews and their families.
On January 20, 2018 high atop the Crown Plaza Hotel overlooking the pacific Ocean, Employees and their spouse of the top three safest crews were invited to a dinner to be recognized for their ability to safely and successfully preform work on several high hazard projects. The evening consisted of an early mixer followed by Dinner and awards, and the night was highlighted by an inspiring safety talk given by Dave Sarkus the “Safety Coach”.
The criteria for the crew and project-based awards were.
- involvement with the Stand tall program
- Safety Leadership
- Positive reports from clients
- Positive Job site visits from safety
- Required reports and paperwork
- Training attendance
The winners:
First place: Metro yard/ HPH, Jose Castellanos and crew
Second Place: LAWA/TPJV midfield Concourse, Carmen Ramirez and crew
Third Place: Silver lake reservoir, Jaime Murillo and crew
