Craig began his construction career at Blois Construction as an entry level Project Engineer but learned construction over the dining room table with his father, hearing of challenges, learning to do take-offs, and visiting job sites on family vacations. He spent time on breaks from High School and College working in the field, laying sewer lines, installing water services, and building valve and fittings assemblies. Craig took a detour to get a B.S. and M.S. in Biochemistry at UCLA but returned to his roots to work with his uncle at Blois Construction in 2007.
With his ingrained experience, the business came naturally to him and although he started as a Project Engineer at Blois, Craig moved a few years later into estimating as Estimating Manager for Blois Construction. He was involved with every estimate submitted by the company as he either created it or reviewed and approved it. Craig then furthered his advancement at Blois by becoming the Director of Project Management where he was involved with every project Blois had and he coordinated and cooperated with project teams, partnered with owners, and considered stakeholder concerns to deliver the very best projects on time and on budget. Most recently Craig has been named Vice President of Project Management in further recognition of his growth and development. This new role has been developed at Blois to ease the future leadership transitions, and Craig works closely with the other two Vice Presidents, Joseph Francisco and Dave Mirones, as they work to gradually take on and manage all functions of the business of Blois Construction.
